The Hispanic Region of the Southern California Conference has committed to honoring outstanding lay members—faithful men and women who, with dedication and passion, have distinguished themselves as soul winners in their local churches. This recognition expresses our deep appreciation for their tireless service to the mission, offering a small gift and a certificate as encouragement for their valuable ministry of support.
During this heartfelt ceremony held at the Spanish-American church, nearly one hundred lay members, together with their pastors, gathered to celebrate the close of the year with gratitude and the certainty that everything is possible in God’s hands.
The program featured an inspiring message delivered by our special guest from El Salvador, Pastor Juan Carlos Durón, whose reflection strengthened the faith and missionary commitment of all attendees. Music also played a central role: Brother Pablo Romero lifted praises to God, and the Rondalla, with its characteristic guitar ensemble, created a refreshing spiritual atmosphere filled with worship.
This celebration provided the perfect setting to conclude four intensive Sabbaths of evangelistic work as part of the Pentecost 2025 week, an outreach initiative that resulted in approximately 65 baptisms, along with many additional interests who will continue to be nurtured in upcoming campaigns.
“As a region, we pray that this army of committed lay members—united with their pastors—continues moving forward with fervor in the mission to reach Los Angeles for Christ,” said Juan Osorio, Hispanic Region director. “Their dedication is a living testimony that the work advances when God’s people unite in purpose, passion, and hope.”
