The enemy always tries to distract us with negative thoughts that don't come from God; thoughts that we're not enough or God won't accept us as we are. Our own mistakes can convince us that it's true. But the Bible tells us something different! God sees us differently than we see ourselves. Read the blog for three things God really thinks of you.
1 – You can come as you are. God doesn’t wait for you to get your act together or clean yourself up before He will accept you. In fact, He’s longing for you to come to Him just as you are today. And He promises that He will receive you with arms wide open. Once you come to Him, He can transform you.
- John 6:37 – All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
2 – You have a purpose. God created you unique, and He has a plan for your life that only you can fulfill. If you let Him, He will fulfill that plan right before your eyes. When He places a calling on our lives, He always gives us what we need to accomplish it, too (2 Thess. 5:24)!
- Psalm 57:2 – I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
3 – You are loved. It’s easy to believe the lies that we’re not good enough or that we can never measure up (John 8:44). But these are words from Satan. Jesus on the other hand, speaks to us with grace and love that’s more than we could ever know.

Jeremiah 31:3 – The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
