All leases are required to be signed by a Southern California Conference representative, typically the asset management department. Please note that if signed only by local church individuals, i.e. pastor/treasurer, etc., signatories are carrying personal risk as they are authorized to co-sign only with the conference representative also being on the document as a signer.

In February of 2019, the conference voted to increase the minimum insurance requirements for tenants to $2,000,000 per occurrence with a $3,000,000 aggregate. Please note this and discuss new requirements with tenants as you renew leases.

Complete all sections and e-mail to assetmgmt@sccsda.org. Please include your contact information (phone/fax/email/mailing address). If the purpose of the request is to open or make changes to a BANK ACCOUNT, kindly attach the CHURCH BOARD MINUTES authorizing the account or change. The board minutes needs to include the  designated signatories. Pastors, Associate Pastors and the spouses should not be designated as signatories on bank accounts.
