Adventist Community Services

The mission of Adventist Community Services is
serving communities in Christ’s name

Adventist Community Services (ACS) is the official community outreach ministry of the Adventist church in the North American Division (NAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist church. Visit the official NAD site to find out about their upcoming events and to sign up for trainings: https://www.communityservices.org/events/.

We serve in many different ways, including crisis care, disaster response and emergency services. We also aim to further the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through the humanitarian work of Hope for Humanity.

This department regularly offers a multi-step disaster response training system developed by the North American Division. Check back regularly for specific program information.

“You’ve read the news and watched the footage. Witnessed the aftermath from tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, floods and other disasters tearing apart communities. Families are displaced, having lost their home, livelihood and even loved ones. What happens next? For many Adventist Community Services (ACS) Disaster Response stands ready to serve those affected by these and other tragedies.”
