A Weekend of Training and Fellowship in SCC

This weekend, many of the leaders in SCC churches gathered for training and fellowship. Hundreds of members drove to Glendale from all areas of the conference—from Santa Barbara to Rolling Hills—on Sabbath afternoon for Equip26. Thirteen breakout sessions included classes titled “Empowered to Empower: Strengthening Yourself While Building Others,” “Reaching Gen Z Today,” “Seeking the Shalom of the City: The Church in the New Mission Field,” “The Steward’s Calling: Managing God’s Resources With Integrity,” and more.

The following morning, the Youth Department hosted a lively Adventurer Fun Day on the campus of Glendale Adventist Academy. Crafts, games, activities, and workshops brought churches and families from throughout SCC together, and the day ended with an engaging message from SCC Youth Director Paulo Tenorio about what it means to be the light.
