Children’s Ministries is offering a hands-on training designed to equip and inspire those serving in this ministry.
Presented by professors from Andrews University’s International Center of Trauma Education and Care, this Christ-centered workshop is grounded in Scripture and informed by current research.
Participants will gain practical tools to create ministry spaces that reflect the heart of Jesus—places marked by safety, belonging, and grace. This training will help leaders respond with compassion, build trust, and support children and families without stepping into a counseling role.
Together, we will explore how trauma and stress can affect a child’s behavior, emotions, and ability to connect, and how faithful presence and loving relationships can become powerful pathways of healing and hope.
